Artisans Paradise

A LOVE OF CREATIVITY AND FAMILY ABOUND IN THE DELALAMO HOME

This project was a labor of love, working with a creative like Dawn, who is bold and inspiring makes my job a breeze.   All that was required was  an area for the kids to do homework and a spot for Mom to create, and a kitchen with easy access to all things cooking.  This included a large gathering island with a prep station and a separate clean up area.   We added some open shelving, loads of drawers, a recycling center and a coffee bar.  

The floating island required a custom frame to support it, and the top was cantilevered under the counter for additional support.  The location of the ovens freed up two sections of wall to provide Dawn with areas of counter tops she need for big cooking jobs, the clean up area was set apart to keep the prep areas clear.

Not one to be confined, Dawn’s kitchen is as open, airy, creative and functional as she and her family are.

On display in the portfolio is a sampling of Dawn’s art  and talent .  I own one of her lithographs I hold dear, and her Rhino jars are a favorite.
